The Synodic Founders first united on a Clone Wars Roleplay server known as GamingLight.
Scorch was the first to meet Rowdy and Terra, soon joined by Ghost. Eventually, Wish and Rhino came aboard. Together, this group formed and led the 91st Recon Battalion.
Following the wrongful banning of most of the 91st Recon Battalion from GamingLight, an acquaintance named Green launched his own server—with Wish contributing on the coding front. The server, known as Greentown, experienced modest success for a time. However, due to growing differences in direction and vision, the group ultimately chose to part ways and move on.
After stepping away from Greentown, the group decided to take a break from server management and moderation.
During this time, they joined a new server Ace RolePlay, where they became part of the 212th Attack Battalion. Remarkably, Scorch rose to the rank of Commander just three days after joining.
Although their time on the server was brief, it was impactful—Skie joined the 212th and quickly became a close member of the Synodic group. Unfortunately, internal conflicts between the server’s owner and staff led to the server’s eventual shutdown.
After witnessing the constant shifts and ego-driven conflicts on other servers, the Synodic group decided it was time to create their own Clone Wars Roleplay server.
Determined to do things differently, they built a foundation rooted in equality—rather than placing power in the hands of a single individual, each of the six members took on a distinct role, such as Developer, Roleplay Manager, Staff Manager, and more.
With a shared vision and strong collaboration, Wish began working diligently on the server’s development, setting the stage for something truly unique.
Synodic Networks has grown into a thriving community, now averaging over 40 active players at any given time.
And yet, this is only the beginning. The server is just starting to make a name for itself—our true prime still lies ahead.
Synodic Networks has firmly established its presence, now averaging around 60 players—thanks in part to successful community mergers.
With momentum on our side, the Synodic brand has begun exploring expansion opportunities, including the potential launch of new experiences such as a Vietnam Roleplay server.
Like many growing communities, we faced our share of challenges.
Some individuals in higher RP roles began making demands that couldn’t be fulfilled without a majority vote from the Synodic founders. This led to disagreements and, eventually, the departure of certain members along with their followers.
In response, and to help reset public perception, the server was rebranded as Scorched Networks. While we never quite regained our previous peak, a strong and loyal community remained—standing as a testament to the foundation we had built.
Longing for the camaraderie and simplicity of the early days on GamingLight, the Synodic founders came together with a new vision.
We decided to pause server operations and shift our focus toward building a broader gaming community. In that spirit, we returned to our roots and reclaimed the name Synodic.
Night after night, we reunited—playing a variety of games together, exploring other RP servers, and simply enjoying the bond that started it all.
The idea of creating a new server was reignited, and Wish, Scorch, and Rhino came together to launch another Clone Wars Roleplay experience.
Although this iteration didn’t last as long as previous ones, it sparked excitement within the community and brought the group back together creatively.
Following this chapter, the team decided to take an extended break from Garry’s Mod, stepping back to recharge and reflect on the journey so far.
Having contributed to the development of numerous servers, Wish has made the executive decision to pioneer a completely new gamemode—one unlike anything seen before.
